Constants And vowels in Russian language.

 There are 21 consonant letters of the Russian alphabet б, в, г, д, ж, з, й, к, л, м, н, п, р, с, т, ф, х, ц, ч, ш, щ .

Soft and hard consonants

soft  means that your tongue should be arched against the roof of your mouth (called the soft palate) so that it "softens" the sound.

Voiced and voiceless consonants

Russian consonants come in pairs where one letter is pronounced voiced and another one is similar but voiceless.

vowels  

vowels in the Russian language я, е, ё, и, ю.The hard-vowels are а, э, ы, у, о. Russian soft vowels are  я, е, ё, ю, и.

Russian language have three genders yes its bit not usual but very interesting for Sure So lets see them now. 

Genders 

To determine the gender Please look at the last latter of the word.

1 Masculine 

2. Feminine 

3. Neuter 

Masculine Gender -  consonant, or “й”, the word is masculine.

Example  -  паспорт (passport), документ (document), брат (brother), Хлеб (bread).

Feminine - “а” or “я” it is feminine.

Example  газета (newspaper), Россия (Russia), Дочь (daughter) 

Neuter -“о” or “е” it is neuter.

Example - здание (building), радио (radio), письмо (letter) 

There are  few exceptions to role stated above.

Examples 

Дедушка - (Grandfather) - Is Masculine
Мужчина - (Man) - Is Masculine
Кофе - (Coffee) - Is Masculine

Yes even though they end on a or e they are still masculine.

Personal pronouns 

• я (I)
• мы (we)
• ты (you - singular; thou*)
• вы (you - plural)
• он (he)
• онá (she)
• онó (it)
• они (they).

Today we are going to talk about Russian language as per Indian perspective.

In my last post we had a look about some amazing facts about Russian language and today we will look at its perspectives.

First and very important fact is that Russian language can help indians to get most of BRICS. Since its formation BRICS countries are trying to do their best to get most of BRICS and Russian language can help indians to get best of Russia for sure.


This fact would amaze a lot of people in India but its a fact. Here One Question can be ask how those people can learn Russian if they can not afford it well you are right its difficult to learn anything without any resources so i would suggest you to use youtube there are some very good videos which will help you to learn basic Russian language and you may use Facebook or any other social networking website to get your Russian speaking partner and i must say Russian people are very helpful when it comes to Russian language learning.

Work as a guide - well Russian people loves to travel which could be a good opportunity to work in hospitality industry if you can speak Russian language you may get more clients.
